Alabama has played a lot of big names but not necessarily a lot of great teams. Michigan, Florida State, and Penn State were all pretty mediocre when Alabama played them. Why don't you schedule Florida State now?
Uh...it would still be 2 or 3 years out....No one can predict the future. Don't know why this is so hard for you to comprehend.
You remember when Clemson schedule you a few years ago to play in 2012, they thought they were getting a worthy opponent...turns out not so much right?

Tell me where bama touched you? Was it New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Tuscaloosa, or have the feels just added up?

Great.
"They just an average SEC team y'all!" (Arkansas sideline against USC in the 1st quarter.)
On the way to a 70-17 child whupping.
An Arkansas team most SEC teams would struggle to beat that year.
And next year they'd go to the SEC champ game after getting stomped again 50-14.
Mighty, mighty...
Have and had no idea what hit you out of conference.

Does that make you feel better about Alabama going for 4 in a row over your team?
Hope so.

Alabama is 31-4 against OOC opponents under Nick Saban. That includes a 5-2 bowl record.

Too bad everyone outside of Alabama will be watching A&M vs. UCLA.

Meh. ucla will be drubbed back into irrelevance where they belong, by then. The only ascendency they've had in this millenium was during SC's sanctions, and thankfully that's over.

What UCLA is doing is good...and Mora has them pointing in the right direction.
But UCLA will never climb the mountaintop.
That's history - that's culture - that's common knowledge to fans in the know in L.A. It's a lifelong thing.
UCLA has an allergic reaction to football greatness. They are obsessed with playing the spoiler but the spoiler mentality never leads to the domineering/big man on campus mentality. UCLA can't dominate on the football field - it's not in their DNA. For those of you OUTSIDE of the Pac-12 that love UCLA this year or next - it's been proven time and time and time again with far better UCLA teams than the current pretender.
UCLA has blown every chance they've ever had when they were ranked #1 dating back to the 60's.
They can't handle pressure or front-runner success...their only joy is to "upset USC" or some other contender that year like Texas.
Gutty little Bruins. (you get a nickname for a reason) - you see yourself as little and not worthy of being a big dog on the block.
