What SEC program gets preseason hype the most but never delivers?

I'm going to go with either Ole Miss or Georgia. Every few years they seem to hype up their squad and announce that this is the "year" they win the SEC or beyond but then they collapse mid season and lose games they shouldn't.
Auburn almost always seems to fly under the radar and not get any preseason love at all.

We're usually always tabbed to finish 2nd in the East during the preseason
Only time we've been overrated in the preseason that I can remember was 2008

Since 1989, UF, UT, LSU, and aTm have all been worse than us at living up to preseason expectations.

easily how? Because you personally expect us to do well or does a media outlet I'm not privy to constantly saying we will do well?

Bama. Saban and a bazillion top recruiting class and they're a sure thing to lose at least one every year and have only won the division about a third of the time.
And this despite playing the easiest schedule in the league.

I'd say probably Georgia. They've done well over the last decade but seem to miss out on making it to the national championship.

How does that have anything to do with us being overrated? Only once have we been predicted to win it all (2008).

I think there's a difference between falling short and being overrated.

I think we can make a distinction between "overrated" and "failed to live up to hype."
A team that loses a game or two it shouldn't isn't the same as a team that just wasn't as good as advertised. Much like Oregon, Georgia tends to fall into the former category more often than the latter. They're rarely overrated as such, just seem to fall short when it matters.

When does Ole Miss ever get tons of hype? Like one year in 2009, and everyone outside of Oxford knew that Nutt was going to screw it up somehow.
It has to be UGA
