Right. Going forward, UTx will always play at home on T-Day night. They will alternate between playing TCU and Texas Tech.

frick I hate A&M and this watching college on Turkey day bullshite. Maybe they'll be embarrassed to be destroyed on a national stage again and they'll rethink the Thursday night request.

I know that aTm fans like this, but how do the LSU fans feel about playing on Thanksgiving Day?

If the tv ratings turn out to be really good, do you think there will be enough support on LSU's side to have it on Thanksgiving Day when it is played in Baton Rouge? Or do you think that the LSU folks will keep in on Friday or Saturday at all cost when they are the home team?

the team doesn't mind when or where they beat a&m's arse....as a fan, I don't like having to watch "my team" on a holiday.

This sounds like a pretty weak solution to replace the old UTex/A&M rivalry. There must be some better idea than this.

it will NEVER be on Turkey day from Baton Rouge...we have too much tailgating tradition to ask our fans to give up a day with family to be on campus.

I think they said that LSU's home games in the series will be played on Friday.

They had a wet dream of playing Notre Dame on T-Day... then playing USC on T-Day... and now they're looking for someone else. Really, what are their options? The only major annual opponent they have left is OU, and they have to play that game during the Texas State Fair.

So, since they can't get any opponent of note to play, they figured they might as well always play at home on that day. I will say I'm a bit surprised they went w/ TCU instead of Baylor. Perhaps they had higher expectations of the Frogs.

Like most things aggy, it's quite weird and gay.

I guess none. They had a good thing going there for a while playing A&M on Thanksgiving, but now they've gone and screwed it all up. It's like UTex's program is imploding.

I have a friend who actually fricked the New Year's Day ham the night he turned 21 (12/31/09). Never been more "nope" in my life when we came home from Waffle House around four to see him naked with chunks of ham scattered across the floor and a small, cylindrical whole in the ham itself.
