I like him. But from my couch He is a cocky douche.
Although I am pretty confident that if I met him and had a small convo with him he would come off pretty normal.
Dude knows his chance will not last forever so he wants to live it up. I have no problem with that as long as he continues to deliver on the field.
Although I think he is going to regret not staying at ATM for one more year. I doubt he ever wins a championship.

where did I infer any of that. I like his passion and wish everyone on my Bama team had played with his passion. I am just glad that NS reins in the cocky arrogant side of things with his team. And of course there is always an exception but if a Bama player did step out of line it was only that one time. There is no place for that in anything sport except rasslin. but again as I said it is a generational thing that most folks my age would feel the same way towards

I love it when he says I'm just a kid from Kerrville, TX. Yeah the kid with the biggest house in Kerrville and a kid who had everything handed to him in life, cracks me up every time.
How did he have everything handed to him when it comes to what he has achieved in football? You're an idiot..

I enjoyed the hell out of watching him play, don't know him personally but I don't have a problem with his style at all.

I think the NCAA would have found a way to levy sanctions against A&M if he would have been there another season.

How so..they vindicated him. My guess is he was ready to make the money and was tired of being under the eye of everything NCAA. Show me the money dude

The fact that most people on this board like Johnny and don't like someone like Cam probably shows racism is alive and well. What is the difference between them except Cam actually won something?
Manziel broke NCAA rules by taking money from an autograph broker and he was also arrested by the police

Me too. Cleveland has suffered enough.

That was never proven. In fact, the only thing that was ever proven is that Mississippi State boosters are heavily involved in recruiting. Probably part of the reason you were placed on probation post Cam. Of course nobody cares about Mississippi State cheating due to the irrelevance of your program

Load of Crap. People like Russell Wilson and to a lesser degree, Colin Kapernick. They're exciting players on exciting teams. Cam isn't.
I'd rather watch paint dry than watch the Panthers.

I am a fan of Manziel. Heck, I am a fan of most of these kids. Would really like to see him succeed in CLE.

cam is an exciting player to watch. I think he has learned that running and improvising like that is not good for his long term health. JFF and Colin and others will learn that too as they get further along in their pro career.

You are FOS! Cam was rookie of the year, has already been to the Pro Bowl two times, and broke Payton Manning's rookie record for passing yards. Of course Andrew Luck did break Cam's record the very next year

celebrating after a touchdown? wow what a dick

Who cares what happened in the Cam recruitment. My interest in Cam was his development at Blinn post UF. Kid really changed both on and off the field, grew up. Really sickens me to think UF could have had Tebow, then Cam Newton following him.
People will always throw stones at Cam and JFF, I am a fan of them both.

Yeah, people like Russell Wilson, but he doesn't have a thug like persona like Cam and Manziel do.
Russell Wilson has never been in any trouble and graduated from North Carolina State
