When someone very close and important to you dies it's important to see them so you can really mourn, process and move on.

Seeing Michael Sam kiss his boyfriend was the picture America needed, whether they were comfortable or not, to actually move forward to the actual acceptance of gays.

And for the record, I think most of that emotion and jubilation was from having to wait for three days and eventually accept that he wouldn't be drafted only to get drafted in the last few pics.

..Micheal Sam is A Ram, A Ram is Micheal Sam
Micheal Sam would not Ram, a girl whose name is Pam
'cause Micheal Sam, who is a Ram, would only ram a man.

Blame ESPN for that. All Sam is doing is trying to get drafted. Media gonna media.

I don't blame Sam. he did cry a lot though, I will reserve the right to make fun of him for his actions and the way he dresses though

Meh, we saw more PDA between him and his boyfriend then we ever see between a pick and their girlfriend.

To be fair, they kept the camera on him longer than they do most pics.

Think his "coming out" was a move to ensure he'd get drafted? NFL would look bad if first gay dude was blackballed in the draft

What America needs is to stop putting these people in the media spotlight and celebrating or promoting such things because it causes a divide in this country.

Accept that there are people who disagree with homosexuality. I'm one of them. I think its wrong and disgusting. I also believe that people have the right to choose how to live their life, and I will respect their choice and tolerate their actions so long as they don't push their way of life on me.

People need to simply be left alone
