Explain why Bama players fizzle out in NFL, and LSU players do well.

Very general comment of course, but there's a consensus that Bama players are overrated and don't pan out as much in the NFL. So assessing this phenomenon, which scenario is true?
1. Saban does more in NCAA with less talent. (this would then mean that recruiting rankings are bogus since Bama has top class every year).
2. Miles underachieves with superior talent. (wouldn't make sense since LSU recruit classes are usually ranked lower)
3. Saban overworks his players (RB's especially) in NCAA and they are burnt when they get to NFL.
(this is silly imo)
4. Saban has a better NCAA system which showcases talent but it doesn't translate to NFL.
5. Miles' system more resembles and translates to NFL.
What is it?

I want you to explain why you think Bama players fizzle out in the NFL and LSU players do not?

6. Having played at Alabama, athletes are not motivated to play as hard for mere NFL teams.

Miles underachieves, Saban's players' deficiencies are masked by his scheme and the fact that they have talent around them.

Haven't we had about 10 threads on this in the last few weeks? LSU has had busts and Bama has had busts. Both schools have also had players that have done well. The pissing contests are getting old.

JaMarcus Russell was a really big hit.

Drafting an Alabama player is like buying a car from a rental company.

Bama players are made of paper mache by the time Saban squeezes all he can out of them.

Saban finds players that are good athletes and coaches them and teaches them thing like discipline and hard work.
Miles just finds freakish athletes who can run 4.3 40s which carry them through college, and when they get to the NFL, they find coaches that are actually good and can teach them to use their freakish abilities.

Well come up with a new topic. This has been beaten to death the last few weeks here.

Motivation.
NFL is a step down from such a premiere program as Bama. It's natural for a let down to occur.
