You see, this is something we could talk about on the USC board:
how backward SC still is.
how backward SC still is.

We still aren't on Mississippi level thankfully. KKK rallies on campus during gameday and whatnot.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. I might be weird, but there should be a pledge to only one flag in this country, even though the words are hollow to most.
I find it funny that some whites want blacks to forget slavery and stop using racial slurs, yet they have shite like this.
I understand the percentage that participate in these things is small, but still.
Edit: and to be clear, this was in no way calling out SC people. Most of the south is the same for the most part.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this.

Would have been the perfect time to sport my Heritage not Hate tshirt.

Questions like that are why I have hope for the South. 10-20 years ago you'd have already gotten a dozen responses explaining why those aren't contradictory, along with several "die yankee" replies.

You're not. I think both sides' arguments are a tad silly and hypocritical but that might just be my take.

I 'd hard at this due to the many, many times I've heard or seen this phrase in my life. Well done.

Honestly that's the other thing I don't get about Confederate flags. You lost! You lost big time! Why why why why are you flying Confederate flags? But I'm probably hopelessly biased. I took the North (aka the United States of America) every time against childhood friend in Battlecry games.
But it seems to finally be improving. Maybe. Here comes somebody to poop all over that thought...

Ok seriously, what the frick is going on there?
Looks like a Civil War re enactment. I think they are about to do one here in Greenwood. I've notice a few old style military tents, flags, and other stuff being put up around old Fort Pemberton.

Since when do we have Civil War reenacments at the state house? Does Nikki know?
I mean I guess they could reenact the "siege" that put all those cannonball holes in the building, who knows.
Is this new? I don't remember this being a thing when I was a student. That's not me trying to dismiss this as a one time thing... I love the statehouse grounds and while it's kind of nerdy I used to like walking around there between classes just admiring shite...used to do it like once a week...but the stuff on the grounds doesn't paint the most endearing picture of the State. Of the pieces that I can remember there's one monument to African Americans, one to Law Enforcement, one to the Military and then like three or four to Confederate/Segregation figures.
Oh and Nikki is a tater, she don't know shite.

Might as well pledge loyalty to the British crown while you at it since that's next in line in the rebellion events of history.
