Destin/Ft Walton/Panama City is pretty nice. But, that's all the panhandle has going for them.
Well that's basically the Panhandle. From Pensacola to Apalachicola (which has the very best oysters) and every beach looks the same. (as far as the actual beach with the emerald green water) I have never been lower south on the Gulf side, as far as beaches go. I have seen the beaches around Jax and around Ft. Lauderdale. I was not impressed at all. I have been to San Diego and they have what we call dirt for beaches.

Destin has pretty beaches. All of them in the Panhandle are nice as far as I'm concerned. I haven't been to one with nasty looking water as long as you avoid the sound side of the beach. The sound side is still water and that collects bacteria and smells.

This beach is like 10 minutes from my house. Pensacola beach is like 20 minutes. Destin is about 45 minutes. We have great fishing, pretty girls, it's a big military area and highly conservative. I've lived all over the country and this is the first area I purchased a home. My wife teaches 5th grade here. We love it

Everything South of Tampa is nice.

I grew up in the heart of the redneck riviera. My grandparents lived in Pensacola so I went there often also. I have fished from Pensacola to Apalach. Like I said earlier, every beach looks the exact same for 150 miles. Because of development, some beaches are now more pristine than others.....but as far as the white sand and emerald water, it's all the same.

I made it to the part where she said Florida State was BCS Champions. Is this actually a FSU girl pretending to be a Gator, talking shite poorly? Because if so, that shite was funny. If she is really a Gator, then

Moved from Pensacola to SoFL. The beaches here cannot compare. Also, far too many old dudes in speedos.

If it wasn't for Disney World I'd probably only ever go to the Panhandle when I visit Florida.
Usually I either go to Gulf Shores in Alabama or Gulf Breeze in Florida. Not sure why I'd need any other beaches.

25 seconds for me. It got to be just too much about the time she started feeling up the gator statue.

Gulf Breeze in Florida
This is where I live.
The Panhandle is where it's at. Although, I like most of Florida except for areas like Milton and Jacksonville.

Do they even have real gators in Florida, or did they a long time ago ?

Nope. They are like dinosaur's to us. We have heard about them, but have to watch Swamp People to see them.
