What do people get out of going to church on Easter once a year?

I always laugh when you can't find a seat on Easter. You might as well just sit at home like you do every other week. One hour a year to worship the creator won't be opening any doors.

Probably just to piss off the judgemental "regulars" like yourself who may go to Church every Sunday but then turn right around & judge others.

Judge not lest ye be judged.
Get that plank out of your eye so you can remove the speck from your brethren.
Etc, etc.

It pisses me of too. These agnostics and atheists should stick to their guns instead of giving in to the cult tradition once or twice a year just to make their dumb mothers temporarily happy.

I haven't been to church in several years ... I never minded all the people showing up on Easter Sunday though... I always thought it was kinda nice for the entire congregation to be there that Sunday.

Eh, made my great grandmothers happy when I went with them occasionally either to service or mass. Was never looking for salvation and the approval of the regulars as much as just glad to see them happy.

Dude, being a Creaster is one of the finest Rosary Belt traditions.
Drunken Catholics from Lake Charles to Pensacola lay down the bottle for three hours just to go pay homage to tGOAT immortal, Jesus.
Plus, it makes Mom and Grandma happy for one more day out of the year. What's wrong with that?

So I'm curious as to the set amount of church appearances to receive salvation?

Maybe God only takes attendance on Easter and they have the system figured out. It's not like you know.

Might want to ask what people get out of NOT going to church every other Sunday.
I'd say: better mental health.
Having said that, I'll be slogging to the nuthouse this morning.
