I'm genuinely curious to see if he'll be able to stay on the straight and narrow at Louisville. The first few years will be easy but once he's not as closely watched will he revert back to his old ways?
Louisville taking him back after a year in the sunbelt isn't going to have had time to give him a life altering experience.
It isn't the off the field stuff that happened first, it was reaching a level he deemed to be good enough, then spending less effort/time on recruiting (he's a dick in real life so it doesn't help). So you have a decline in talent, no real indication he could have continued the success at Louisville or Arkansas with the talent that made up the roster.
He isn't much different than Nutt, wins with inherited talent for the most part, doesn't like to recruit, would rather ride a motorcycle than play pick up basketball games.

Except for the fact that the piggies are the NEXT game on the schedule, I think we Auburn fans should keep them in perspective.
arkansas is not a program on the upswing, nor are they a threat to Auburn at this time. I view them the same way I view ole miss and mississippi state. They sneak up and beat us when we have internal problems that need correcting. Once we make adjustments, its back to the cellar for those teams.
Lesson of the day:
Be nice to the berts of the world. You might need them to score a win on you so you can fire your poor excuse for a head coach.

A lot of the Auburn fans on this board are new to their fandom. You just have to be patient with them.

I like how Gus buying his way into the Arkansas High School "HOF" is suppose to make us feel bad.
Easily the most pathetic thing on this board today.
This is really how you treat someone who brought attention to your little shitty corner of the world?

I know.
Each time was a signal that we had issues in our program that needed correction. Tubs went soft, Chizik was not a clear leader, etc.
We are now back on track and that record wont be that way for long. Just like sabben wont enjoy any more beatdowns of Auburn. He will be lucky to avg .500 against AU for the rest of his short career. (sorry for the pun)

They are 11-10-1 since we joined the SEC. Total domination.

Almost everyone tends to view other teams this way though.
Arkansas been terrible around 50% of the time lately (2004, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2013) which combined with their .500 head to head record kinda speaks well of Arkansas maximizing the number of times they could have won against Auburn in that time frame:
