I like how Gus buying his way into the Arkansas High School "HOF" is suppose to make us feel bad.

0-8 is almost a given, right? I don't think anyone in their right mind sees a league win on that schedule. They'll certainly be massive under dogs in every game.

What's going to really ratchet up the pressure is opening the season with a loss to Arkansas HOF coach Gus Malzahn on his was to another NC title run while your former coach redeems his career in Louisville.

Engrish please.

The University of Arkansas had the opportunity to hire Gus Malzahn for the position of head football coach. Rather than hire this individual, the university instead chose Bret Bielema. Gus Malzahn was hired instead by another university, and has since been very successful. Bret Bielema has not recorded a conference win. Some would view this as a bad decision by the Arkansas administration. On the opening weekend of the 2014 college football season, the University of Arkansas is scheduled to play Malzahn's current team and is not favored in the match up. Simultaneously, a former coach of the University of Arkansas will be making his re-debut at the University of Louisville. This done made them hoggies maaaaaaaad as it is basically an Eiffel tower of coaching frickups.

Don't forget about Charlie Strong too as he had an opportunity to go home.

I understand many on this board lack basic reasoning and logic skills.

I'm reminded of this every day.

He's not a NC winning coach though, is he?

Larry Coker took over his predecessor's talent after being the OC an won a NC.

Gus is no Coker.

who's mad?

gus could go on to win 20 whatever championships it's going to be called now and i'll still not like and don't want him. his success (or failure) makes no difference to me as far as me liking or disliking or wanting or not wanting him.

as far as petrino, he had to go, imo. it wasn't really an option for us- now maybe at auburn or other places where anything will and can work regardless of ethics, public perception, etc he could have stayed but at our illustrious university he had to go.

again, who's mad?
