Why are you giving Chizik's credit to Gus?

gus could go on to win 20 whatever championships it's going to be called now and i'll still not like and don't want him. his success (or failure) makes no difference to me as far as me liking or disliking or wanting or not wanting him.
Gus wasn't going to come into Arkansas and have similar success to what he had at Auburn. Any reasonable person who has logic skills would know that, the roster at Auburn was recruited to his system on offense.

as far as petrino, he had to go, imo. it wasn't really an option for us- now maybe at auburn or other places where anything will and can work regardless of ethics, public perception, etc he could have stayed but at our illustrious university he had to go.
Petrino isn't here because of no one but Petrino, asking a person to act like a decent human being isn't making them become a "monk"...

He was the OC on the NC team so I'm pretty sure he list that on his resume?

Just further proof a portion of our fan base is as stupid as the poster on the SECr

He would list that as while being OC.
As a head coach he has a losing bowl record, his next bowl win will be his first.

On this we agree. Petrino was a dirtbag when Arky hired him so let's no pretend that the school lived by some high moral code in firing him. Had he not got caught he would still be the coach unless he decided to leave

The Freedom of Informatoin Act will tell me the amount that Gus payed to get into the Arky HOF?

His OC was forced out prior to this for similar reasons, he is rejoining him at Louisville.
It wasn't just Dorrell he was banging on the side, he thought he was above the program or the program himself, his arrogance is his downfall.

If you know how to use it.
He would have put the money to better use by paying his personal property tax, which he and his wife are still delinquent on.

He might as well pay the governor first to get out of that mess before dealing with the HOF.

I'm genuinely curious to see if he'll be able to stay on the straight and narrow at Louisville. The first few years will be easy but once he's not as closely watched will he revert back to his old ways?

Upvoted BUT,
College Football programs are cyclic. He needs at least 5 more years.
