I don't think he likes putting up with the BS from the money people. That was his downfall at Auburn. He lost some of the influential's. I think he would make a good AD though.

Too old, plus the whole headset ripping off/lying about it incident makes him look like a major tool.

No f'ing way. Has he coached anyone that liked him?

He was underappreciated at TT. I don't blame TT fans for being mad about the lawsuit and how the Leach stuff went down, but Tubs was a coach that could have really solidified them as a competitive program and gotten around to doing stuff that was foreign to Leach (developing benefactors, growing the footprint, etc.). He probably wouldn't have won as much at any point, but he was the yin to Leach's yang that TT probably needed to really move from a gimmicky program to a legitimate major conference contender. So anyway, I don't blame Tubs for wanting to get out of that situation, where nobody appreciated what he brought to the table.

It will be difficult for him to recruit in the SEC territory since he is a Birther. Other schools will kill his efforts to recruit black players.

Definitely not. Tubbs best days are long gone.

Miss St. would beg CTT to coach in Starkville if available!

Good coach, lazy recruiter.
He can coach up some low ranking players, though.

Do you know his coaching records? He's had two double digit win seasons in his entire career. He's had four losing seasons in his entire career.
Hell, he's only been able to win 9 games or more seven times in his entire career.
That's out of 18 years.
Outside of 2004-2006, he's been nothing but an above average coach.
And that 8-4 saying is technically better than he's actually done. He has a 63% win percentage. Out of 220 games coached over 18 years, that's an average of 7.7 wins & 4.5 losses per year.
Facts and shite.

It's amazing how people act like it was borderline treason to fire Fulmer, but nobody pays attention to the fact that he got a lot more rope than Tuberville.

I could definitely see him at Arkansas.
Tubs would do a good job at Arkansas. He's from there. I frankly was surprised Arky didnt consider him before fricking up and hiring Bert.
He'd give the rest of the SEC problems at Arkansas and he knows what beating Alabama looks like.
