Bow ties

Alright, who here uses a clip on bow tie and who actually ties theirs? In the past i've used clip ons but I want to start tying my own...I found out it is nearly impossible.

Yeah, learn to tie a tie. Bowties should be tied like bowties are tied.

If you tie anything but a full windsor in your normal daily life when a tie is required, you're a scumbag.

I don't know how to tie a bow tie, never owned a bow tie so I never really tried to learn. The only time I wear them is with tuxes in weddings and they always come with the clip on.

1)Sit down in front of a mirror with your computer
2)search and play instructional video
3)practice

Tie your own. Clip on bow ties are turrible and you should probably stick to regular ties if you can't tie a bow tie.


It's not hard, just takes some practice.

I have a theory about bow ties. Traditionally, longer clothing means more power. In the olden days, more powerful men would wear ties as poorer men would resort to bow ties. Somewhere along the way, it became that if you had a large sized penis, you would wear a tie. Men who had bow ties had..well…yea
