its time to officially kick this thread off with the start to the 2016 recruiting cycle. let us all discuss recruiting, who gets upvotes and why they do so, growth predictions about our future QBs, have preemptive melts about recruits taking visits, which fast food places kick arse and which other places are terrible, and who are the top 10 national mystery kids who are going to fax us their LOIs on NSD

My 2016 recruiting predictions:
1. Someone will commit to us, and then decommit, causing people to freak out
2. Two or more of our recruits will be complete twitter whores
3. We'll pull the top commit out of a state that's not Texas
4. We won't get as much as we want at a position and people will proclaim it's THE position that is going to break our season
5. 8 or more posters will talk shite about pay sites while still subscribing themselves
6. Every poster in the thread will claim to quit following recruiting...only to come crawling back to the sweet, sweet embrace

I think he will but it will be more about evals. He's the Mike Sherman of defensive evaluations. I do not expect him to suddenly be on the road or to personally reel in guys. He'll just get us pointed at the right guys (regardless of their ranking)
This may be the one area Chavis does help. He's a well known commodity and it's an area ripe with talent. In that way, I think ETX and the Triangle as well. Lotta athletes that don't have the polish of HOU/DAL guys but have a lot of natural ability. We have been late on guys in the past and let LSU, Baylor or others offer first. I think that flips which should help us
I don't think we will. We might, but my bet is on 2 four star types. I think the demands of the Murrays weighed on Sumlin all year and he really has very little patience for that kind of thing (which is why he pawned it off to Spav). I think we'll tell guys they will be one of 2 and if they don't like it look elsewhere
