Thanks Auburn and LSU buffoons. It couldn't have happened without you!

You did read the Chris Low article that was posted yesterday at ESPN, right?

This could not have happened without Saban

Saban claims to be worried about player safety, but he sure doesn't care about student safety after reinstating DJ Pettway. What a joke.

Saban should have gone solely with advocating for making the clock rules the same as they are in the NFL. If he wants to cling to the player safety argument and the number of plays per game making injuries more or less prevalent, it makes more sense than attacking the HUNH. If you don't stop the clock after a first down, there will be fewer pays per game. It would have been a much more valid argument, but of course that wouldn't solve the real reason for his complaint, which has been made very apparent that Saban doesn't like defending HUNH offenses.

Saban's own Barrett Sallee has turned on him

What Saban and Bielema don't seem to realize is that they aren't arguing against HUNH, they're arguing against football.

I don't see myself defending anything. I'm not a fan of any rules change, but I certainly see how this staged uproar is going to work out very well for Saban and staff. They've got something to prove now, pal. Oh, and check to see what Alabama did the last time they lost 2 in a row.

The losses to AU and OU weren't sufficient, they needed fan message board posts to get them motivated?

I'm beginning to think that you may just be a little light in your loafers, Scooter...but that's not my problem.

ISWYDT, but that's still too dangerous. A player could be seriously injured in a fall and running on hard surfaces has been proven as more harmful to joints. I suggest a surface more like a gymnastics floor exercise surface.

Saban has lost 9 games in six years, 6 of those were to HUNH teams. All 6 of those teams finished the year in the top 10. What that says is that teams like OM, Ariz, Wash ST, Clemson, etc need to STFU because it does not matter what they run. The last 4 losses to HUNH teams, bama had the ball in final minute with a chance to win/tie the game.

But he didn't win those games and that's what galls him.

Face it, Saban can't win without an unlevel playing field.

It's why he ran from the NFL like a scared little rabbit.
