Maybe Saban should try to copy what those two teams did instead of legislating his way to victory?

Just hire away the guy that signals plays and knows the entire offense.

For what its worth Jimbo Fisher is a Saban disciple and Jeremy Pruitt and Sunseri were on Saban's previous staff....so you could say in a sense, Nick Saban lost the battle but actually won the war

Scored more points.

By the way Alabama's defense probably did better against Auburn than FSU's did so not sure Saban wants to emulate FSU in stopping the Malzahn's offense. If Saban is truly worried about Auburn, he should push for some changes to special teams rules.

Saban will be fine against Auburn.

I do think Saban is making some changes to his defensive personnel and it will look a little more similar to LSU in terms of the speed to size ratio, so there is that.

Just curious, but what is the story of Saban's involvement in this proposed rule change? I know he has no vote. Did he talk about it with the committee? What did he say?

#Stiffdew.

No but really AU was still coming together and Jeremy Hill is an unstoppable beast that takes little DBs and crushes them. Also CAP and Mason had da fumbilitis.

I have no problem supporting this blatant pat-LSU-on-the-back thread so long as it disparages bama.

This. Auburn was a good team this past year but overachieved mightily. FSU, LSU, and Alabama were each more talented teams, and each of them should have beaten Auburn. Two of them did. There really isn't much more to it than that.

At the time that was certainly true.
