re: Best Rapper In Your Opinion

Posted by Black Dynamite on 3/6/14 at 11:14 pm
That's going to JUCO. But who cares, y'all got LF right?

Back on topic, all time it's BIG. Tupac is the most overrated rapper of all time. As far as pure lyricism is concerned, I gotta go wit Jay Electronica. Just has to release his album.
If you don't like rap, then why post in this thread? Why do you have to be a dick?
Hillar Moore gon die tonight! LSU football players, the struggle will soon be over.
I don't think LSU is going to recruit Belton. I think they're going to focus on Bladrick Veal and Shea Patterson. And doesn't WM have John Washington this year? Pretty sure he'll get offered.

As far as Moton is concerned, I don't really care. He doesn't seem like a can't miss prospect to me. IMO he's the 5th best DT in the state this year behind Ed Alexander, Briston Guidry, Jozie Milton, and John Washington. If he goes to Bama I wouldn't lose any sleep.
Then who the frick would be the Pels PG? Greivas? It would've been impossible for us to get MCW, since in your scenario we would have to keep Noel. I don't get the obsession with draft picks. People point and say, "Just look at OKC and the Spurs, they built the right way. All teams should follow that model." fricking OCK and SA got ridiculously lucky multiple time (Westbrook and Ibaka, Parker and Manu) wile also having sure fire, franchise changing superstars already there. You know how often one of those guys comes around? Every 4-5 drafts. I'll take my chances with a proven commodity.
Not the biggest Ricky Rozay fan, but this was pretty nice. Nothing groundbreaking or nothing, but real solid all the way through. No lackluster tracks, but none that really stand above the rest.

And like a couple other guys have said in this thread, it'll be an interesting year in hip-hop. Oxymoron was really nice and I liked it a lot. Pusha T is coming out with his new album, King Push, as a follow up to MNIMN and there's rumors of a Clipse EP. Both of those got me real excited. Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt are coming out with their collabo, EarlWolf. I'm sure GOOD Music will have a bunch of releases. J.Cole is supposed to drop something. And then you got guys like Joey BadA$$ and The Underachievers who'll hopefully drop a full studio album soon. Travis $cott is gonna have another mixtape this year too, I think. And of course Jay Electronica could always finally release his album. I actually read a prett crazy article that all this stuff with Jay is bullshite and there isn't an actual album.

Coach Raymond, please share what we want in our CB's now that we got you here, then show us the video of Capers-Smith playing CB to show us why he doesn't fit.

I was just repeating what a Staff member told me that day, fwiw, but I bet they're surprised with DCS's time...

Just look at what DB's we're offering. Tall, long armed, athletic, and physical corners. DCS doesn't fit that description at all. The price is wrong, compadre.

Exactly. He was all LSU until he realized he didn't have an offer he could commit to. Until that offer comes, or he knows it won't come, it's useless to follow his recruitment seriously.

Yep. His HS eligibility is in question right now. Wasn't able to play last year and might not be able to play this year. Think it's a credits issue.

But to the the Aggie who responded to me, I think he can be a beast, but I'm not sure he'll reach his full potential no matter what college he goes too.

Seriously though, congrats young man. Keep putting in that work.

i was hoping odo would be a guy that we could actually rely on for 5-7 minutes a night to just rebound, commit a couple of enforcer type fouls and maybe a put back here and there. apparently he's been playing with a bum knee so hopefully that has more to do with it than anything and he can contribute next year.

I don't know about Odo man. He looks he just happened to wander on to the court by accident every game. I really wish he could've played last year.

No, not really. It's just y'all are making it seem like he's some can't miss prospect when I'm pretty sure he fell like 70 spots in 247's last update.

Meh, dude's like the 3-4 best DT in the state this year.

I expect Martin and JOB and possible Mickey to go in next draft

Then Jarell will be in Europe while Jordan plays in the D-league. Neither one of those guys is near ready to sniff an NBA court.
Jesus. I'm sorry that I don't like Hickey. He's a streaky shooter who's terrible at the line and can't finish or even get to the paint to save his life. His on ball D and passing are tremendous, and he's clutch as frick, but he has trouble closing on shooters due to his height and gets trapped to easily when other teams press.

On JOB, he's a guy who requires a high number of touches in the post and a one-on-one matchup to be most effective. Sadly, due to our low number of reliable shooters from deep and lack of off ball movement, JOB is doubled and triple teamed everytime he catches the ball. I don't think we'll improve enough in these areas next year so Johnny's best option is to leave. Also, I hate his effort and his defense.

Hammink just isn't good enough. Rather see Bridgewater get those minutes next. Hopefully WorldWide Geert pays Sugar Shane's tuition next year.
Like S said, this team has some great talent, but it doesn't work well together. Hickey is to small and can't get into the lane well enough to force defences to collapse so he can get other players easy looks. JOB is atrocious on D and gives zero fricks on the court. Martin's feet aren't quick enough to defend other 3s and he doesn't know how to rotate on D. Shavon and Mickey are fine, but outside of those two, the rest of the team just doesn't work.

To top it off, our bench is pretty terrible, besides Stringer. Quarterman and Malone still have time to develop and they've at least shown they possess some level of skill. Odo and Morgan are what they are, and probably won't get any better. Hammink, I just don't think he's good enough to make it.

Next year's squad should be a much more cohesive unit that complements each others talents a lot better than this years team.

Coach Jones should get at least one and maybe two more seasons.

fricking brilliant. Makes total sense too. I mean, it's not like Johnny inherited some shite program that had trouble winning 14 games the season prior, suffered massive losses to transfer, and had to start a JUCO transfer who is 6'5 190 at the 4. We should fire all of our coaches after 3 years if they aren't able to immediately rebuild our program and turn them into contenders. Who gives a frick if it puts our program into an endless shite spiral, nobody cares about basketball anyway. We'll just tear down the PMAC and build more parking lots. :nana: :nana:
