Florida basketball going "barnstorming" in 2018

UF is being joined by 3 of the nation's premier basketball teams in a 3 city "barnstorming" tour. The 3 cities are NY, Chicago and Los Angeles.
The Gators will be joined on this mini-tour by Michigan State, North Carolina and Texas.
This is a very innovative idea and goes along way with marketing the brand of each school.
I can't wait to see this. I'm sure ESPN will be all over it because all 4 teams are supposed to travel together.
Frick UNC though and their POS coach.

Wrong board. This has absolutely nothing to do with the HUNH. Damn yankees and your roundball and peach basket sport.

Brought to you by LA Looks.

Congrats Gators. You deserve the recognition. Schools like Florida, who are dedicated to competing in ALL sports, will reap not only additional financial rewards, but additional notoriety as well.

Could be cool to watch. UF, MSU, & UNC can be counted on for consistently good basketball. Wonder if Texas will be any good by then...

State's invite must have gotten lost in the mail ...
But in all seriousness this is a pretty cool idea. I assume each school will play a different opponent in each city?

Mark Hollis has always tried to have some marquee events for the hoops team for quite some time, goes back to 03 with the game vs Kentucky.
I think it'll be pretty cool

He basically called BD a cheater even though he's one of the cleanest in the business. He was butt sore about Mike Miller.

Yes, each team will play a different opponent at each stop on the tour.

The thing that makes this unique, is that the teams will be sharing a chartered plane and flying around the country together for 8 days visiting the different cities.

And Kentucky ... is not one of them.

Nothing against Kentucky, but ...

UK wasn't invited. There's already do less with more coach on the tour. Cal and Roy would be too much on one trip together.
