Hi all I am bringing clients to the Talladega race in May and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on best area to stay and restaurants?
Looking for a more upscale hotel. Looking at Hilton Perimeter Park Hotel right now.
What say you gents?
Thank you for all your kind suggestions.

I know close to nothing about Talladega, but the Hilton Perimeter Park is a nice place and would be easy access to I-459 -> I-20
It's also really close to the Summit.

You should rent a chateau on Mt. Cheaha. I have no idea what else to tell you, though.

Wear cut off wrangler jeans and remove t shirt sleeves. Drink Milwaukee's Best, shoot fire works.
In all honesty, shits a blast. Redneck-y as frick, but shits a blast.

That was expected at a NASCAR event, but hate this part of it.

Remember to make a sign - "Show us your tits for beer."

Michael Waltrip painting his car in AU colors or is Gus giving the starting command?

No nothing to do with Auburn. Clients have been wanting to go to Talladega for a very long time. I am not a huge NASCAR fan and going to races are ok, but not at the top of my list.

The Victoria in Anniston is first class.

In that case, stay a small distance from the track and if at all possible, get tickets where you can see the Turn 4. That's where the action is. Best wrecks I've seen are coming off 4 heading to the tri-oval. You're gonna catch traffic either way unless you're in the infield.

Well there's nothing nice near Talladega so pick a hotel in the direction that you're coming from would be my suggestion.
