If you're going by composite rankings, Rivals just updated their rankings so that could lead to some composites scores/stars going up or down.

Is Jefferson even a remote possibility for us?

If Florida tanks and he doesn't like the next coach

One of those is a given!

I don't think UF will be that bad, defense will be good, if offense can do anything they will tough.

Yeah I think UF will be good this year

Not laughing at you saying he was because you're right, just laughing at the fact anyone actually rated him that.

I was joking. If their Oline stays healthy and they get anything out of Driskell they will be stout. D is a given at UF.

Jefferson has a good relationship with Pruitt
Not sure just how bad it has to get for UF though, he seems to be much more open to OOS schools than his parents are IMO
UGA has a shot if UF tanks (which I expect to happen)
Pruitt is pulling some strings with a lot of these kids under the table, a skill he learned well from Saban

True. Already paying big dividends too and he hasn't even been here a year.

This is true but Pruitt is one of those guys who makes an impact especially on HS coaches and parents
It was the plan to keep him and groom him to keep moving him up the ranks at Bama when he first came to Tuscaloosa and FSU broke the little bit of bank they had left to lure him away, but are in way worse financial shape now than they were a year ago. What I'm getting at is UGA got a steal I believe and he is back in the SEC which he desired very much to be. As much of a hot name candidate as he will keep appearing to be every offseason, he will be at UGA for a while as long as Richt is there I believe. UGA should see significant improvement on D this year.
ETA: I could see him staying much longer and making a significant impact at UGA than most people think much like Smart has at Bama

I agree that UGA's got some inherent advantages for him that will make him more inclined to stick around. Richt is easy to work for, he's totally in control of his own defense, friends on the staff, reasonably close to his son and family, UGA can pay him well, close to areas that he knows in recruiting, ability to develop close contacts in GA high schools that will help him for the rest of his career. He's also just married. I don't know what his family plans are, but that could obviously effect his career choices in terms of how often he's willing to move.

Its also not beneficial to move and change jobs every year. After a while it starts to show up as a negative and potential red flag when interviewing for a HC gig

My Lord I hope so. I don't hold much hope of having him more than 3 years.

You should WG...he is close with Kirby and envies that career path and sees UGA as that same potential job
As long as there isn't a major staff overhaul I could see him more than 3 yrs easily and UGA's success this year should keep that from happening anytime soon
