I am curious, seriously, why LK is perceived as such an offensive mastermind? His last yr & a half at USC produced records for poorest performance, especially this past season. At UT, he was only there one yr, so how does that reflect any real proof of his abilities? As for his recruiting expertise: Orgeron was on every staff he's had in college & he's the one who gets most of the credit, cheating or otherwise. At Oakland he was fired. Enough said about any expertise while there. Having said all this, Saban is not stupid. As much as he is a prick, his football knowledge is beyond comparision.

Rolando McClain is living back in Tuscaloosa. He's got that fixed.

Yeah, Lane lived in a huge house right on the lake in a very nice Knoxville suburb.

Saban lives some where similar.

Y'alls current OC was a failure as a HC and was also fired by a NFL team (midseason at that). Glass houses and such....

Turning away Boyd and Petty in the same season makes me question some of his talent evaluations.

Evaluating talent is the least of my worries on Lane Kiffin's job duties. I think we have that one covered.

No good for who? I'm pumped up about it!

The only weirder story this week is Louisville taking Petrino again. And really those hires are 1a and 1b on the weirdness scale.

If Saban approves, I approve. Here comes the onslaught of comments mocking the hire though.

It's just humorous, considering how much UA fans bashed him, and now some will champion him as a great hire.

He's a douche slime-ball. Let's call a spade a spade here. Just because he'll be walking Alabama's sidelines, doesn't mean you have to backtrack and embrace him.

A hell of a lot of coaches are douche slime-balls. That matters not to me.

Oh, and most offensive coordinators are in the booth. So he wont be walking the Bama sidelines much.

I never took Kinnin to Bama seriously, I thought it was a joke.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

At least theres one honest fan out there.

Just imagine how much fun the gumps would be having if LSU or AU had made this hire. I can't believe the spin I'm seeing.

" Saban can keep him from going full douche" has got to be the worst reasoning I've ever seen.
