I understand that you don't want him to leave, but the tone of your posts in this thread indicate you know it's in his best interest and you know deep down it's happening.
He's not going to sit for another year or two when he could start for a national title contender and his lifelong favorite team in his home state. As spurned as he felt by not getting a bama offer i'm sure he felt just as spurned by Jimbo when Winston was given the job. The comments by Shannon about why the job was won by Winston are pretty telling. It would make no sense for Coker to stick around at FSU. Even if bama wasn't an option he would be headed elsewhere upon graduation

I'm giving some reasons why he would stay. According to you idiots, there is no reason for him to stay at FSU.

You're getting angry again. There really isn't a reason for a NFL caliber QB to sit for 1-2 more seasons. QBs transfer at a higher rate than any other position.

On a scale of 1-10, how obsessed are you with me?
I'm thinking ~7.

We all get our panties in a wad, at one time or another on here, but this guy takes the cake. He lost it on the Coaches Changes board. Then had an aneurysm when I dared say MH would end up at Alabama. Thus, demanding a perma-ban bet. I have doubts said poster has even attended one class at Florida State.

Probably more highly educated than 99.999% of the Bama posters on here. But thanks for playing.
And yeah, I GET SO ANGRY at some of your moronic posts.

I'm interested to see how this plays out now. It doesn't matter to me whether he transfers or doesn't, it won't make the Bama DBs or OL any better than they were. Also, there's a reason he didn't beat out Jameis this summer and I highly doubt it was solely due to injury.
With that said, I'm more interested to see how it plays out b/c of all the Bama posters claiming to be "in the know" in Mobile. Lots of credibility to be gained or lost in this thread IMO.

The same exact thing could have been said after the 2010 season, with a the secondary and offensive line coming off a subpar year. And another St. Paul's product set to take over at QB (minus the route he took to Alabama).

Doubt he transfers. He will be a guaranteed starter after Winston leaves and there is nothing the FSU side has heard that indicate he plans on transferring.
He is waiting to notify anyone at FSU until after he graduates so he can leave, you can imagine why
I will say it is an advantage to have a better shot at starting next yr at Bama, NFL doesn't matter to a kid who thinks he will have that opportunity either place, there is also some hurt feelings from JW winning the starting job, then couple that with him being from Mobile (St. Paul's HS) and him and whole family being huge Bama fans and it makes the perfect storm so to speak

Actually if you read more, Sanders basically said the best QB doesn't always win the competition but the one who will least divide the team LOSES !!!!
Read between the lines, J.W. losing the QB competition would have divided the team.
JW played 1 SEC team and looked average.

Bucc, no offense, but I don't trust a single thing any of your sources say. We'll see how it plays out. I never said he won't transfer (and a couple of trusted FSU posters have said he probably will -- maybe not to Bama). I'm just adding some reasons why I think he might decide to stay.
