I've heard from several here in mobile that it's happening. Can't name who, but they are within the football program at bama.

Also was an All-State basketball player at St Paul's and by all accounts faster more elusive etc than Winston but not a run first guy, but he's got wheels and a live arm that's for sure. Again like I said should've definitely been a take

Awesome.

Bama - lose one of the winningest QBs in college football history. Replaced by a fricking genetic freak. Can't wait to defend that shite.

And when he leaves it will be perfect timing for Ricky Towns the #1 QB in the country to step in and take over.

Doubt he transfers. He will be a guaranteed starter after Winston leaves and there is nothing the FSU side has heard that indicate he plans on transferring.

Time for Coker to throw a laptop out the window.

Back-up better than the starter? seems like a perfect fit for Bama

He's a guaranteed starter THIS year if he transfers.

Coker called all the Bama speculation "rumors" and says he doesn't know how it got started. Doesn't sound like he is aware he's transferring.

What do you expect him to say? Honestly? "Yeah I'm out of here, sorry guys, Roll Tide."

When is the last time Saban put a QB into the first round? Jimbo is about to have three straight.

So he'd rather start for one year than two?

a chimp could have "put" Winston into the first round. And Manuel shouldnt have even sniffed the first round.

You're also assuming Winston stays healthy for the entire year. Coker could also get a ton of PT if FSU continues to roll opponents next year.

He hasn't exactly stayed around long enough to reap the benefits of great recruiting. He no doubt would have had Jamarcus Russell, had he remained at LSU. That being said, no many defensive minded coaches have a long resume of producing NFL caliber QBs.

How many chimps have produced four first round QBs, including the #1 overall pick?

I haven't a clue what Coker will do, but a QB isn't going to sit around as a backup for another year if he could start elsewhere. That's just the nature of the position.

Why wait? He'd be a guaranteed starter immediately if he transfers to Bama.

I'm sure he'd rather ride the coattails of Jameis at FSU than be the guy at Bama, under Nick Saban of all coaches, oh and play for the team he's always loved.

He'll transfer.
