If Florida St. Played a SEC schedule

Anyone else believe they would've lost a game? I think if they played better opponents all year long they would've lost at least one game on the road

They'd lose 2 at the absolute minimum

They wouldn't stand a chance against LSU in a stiff, wind-driven dew.

Yea that's what I was thinking 1 or 2

I agree, unless you make a case for a tougher schedule causing more injury problems for them. Is not like they squeaked by the ACC they punished those teams.

They're a very strong team (beat us obviously) but I'm surprised if anyone still thinks they're a legendary squad after last night.

I'd say there's a good chance they drop at least one game. Doesn't matter, though. Playing in the SEC usually gives you a one loss mulligan. Playing in the ACC does not. In other words, the tradeoff to an easier schedule is that being in the ACC means you have no room for error. Under those conditions, they still won. They deserve it, although I hate it.

If Famous Rapeis continues to trust in the process, FSU will beat anyone

Depends on which division they were in. They would probably run the table in the East although SC and Missouri would have given them a good game. In the West, I figure they would have lost at least one game and would have had some banged up players.

This is true, moreover, these discussions are always a little unfair IMO. I do think the SEC is much more difficult, but I think FSU is a program that would be poised to compete pretty well in our conference. Now, if you throw them up against an equal team like what happened last night, they lose or have trouble. But if they're adjusted to the level of competition, they'll manage ok.
TAMU and Mizzou are decent examples.

Honestly dont think they lose.
However, they would have more close games and wouldnt dominate like they did in the ACC.

yea, if they were in the East it would have depended on when they played Georgia and who their cross division opponents were.
If they were able to catch Georgia late and draw Arky and Moo they could make it unbeaten at least until the SEC title game.
It would hinge on where their games vs USCe and Mizzou were played.

Winston, playing behind a decorated offensive line, struggled most of the game against Auburn who was #12 in the SEC in total defense and dead last in pass defense. The whole game all I could think is that this kid would never even be mentioned as a Heisman Trophy candidate if he played in the SEC.

They beat the SEC champ, so a thinking they would lose a bunch automatically is illogical. However, had they played some of the SEC teams instead of the ACC teams, they'd have had a tougher schedule and tougher schedules generally mean more losses. I don't know who would have beat them, though. Maybe Alabama, or Auburn given another shot. Best to say, "Good Season" and leave it at that.
