After pondering the skill set kyler murray possesses, either of these qbs talents could very likely be wasted, causing them to want to transfer. I just feel bad for them because each of them seem very talented and would do well in sumlins system. We have too many good qbs wanting to come to a&m amirite?

It happens.
A problem I don't mind the Ags having.

They won't all pan out it happens all the time just be thankful we have a ton of great options to compare against each other and push each other to do better in the spring and 2-a-days

Kyle Allen is overrated. I say that as my family moved to Scottsdale and I have seen him play at DMHS while in town. Half his accolades come from a good camp and his WR who is 6'6 provides the other half of his acclaim.

Your other guys will win and I believe they have some talent as well

Hmm, we had another QB who was accused of that. It seemed to work out ok.

Very interested in seeing Allen today. He has been ridiculous at every camp and has all the tools for sure. He's got a cannon and is ridiculously accurate and a super quick release. He is definitely not a dual threat but the traditional Sumlin system prior to Johnny didn't have one either (even back to OU).

I've noticed that almost every Ag on any forum seems to pencil in Kyler as an automatic commit? What is making people automatically assume this other than the fact that his dad was a badass QB for the Ags back in the day?

Because he reminds people of Manziel. That's my guess

there's good mojo there but yeah, it's an awful lot like the LSU fans who penciled in a bunch of guys and screamed LOCK over and over til they picked someone else. They then proceeded to melt down over it and call these kids liars

I hope we get Murray but until he makes it official, we need to chill out on counting him in our QB pipeline

I shudder at how TA reacts to Murray not being an aggie

Look, I've watched him and seen him play and he isn't #1 QB top 15 type guy. He is a 4* and has tools but I'd be shocked if he progressed enough to start early
