One thing we learned for sure is you can take everything ESPN Gameday says and toss it.
Also, Vegas can be way wrong.
And finally, the SEC may be down but then again FSU is said to be SEC like so they're down too.

Alabama will win the AP National Championship because it was decreed a month ago that they deserve it.

No. I still think this was a fluky season for Auburn where the ball bounced their way.
Don't get me wrong, Gus is a great coach and has maximized his talent this year. But if the season were replayed again, Auburn could easily have 2-3 more losses.
I still think FSU is the better overall team, but Auburn winning wouldn't shock me at all since they've got this team of destiny shite going on this year.

There was indeed a little bit of this. I do think part of their confidence was broken. It really sucks to not go to an NCG, SEC CG on a crazy last play against your most hated rivalry ever. It's certainly tough to overcome and go to a bowl game that really doesn't mean all that much compared to an NCG.

Riseupfromtherubble Does the SEC's bowl performance change your NC prediction? What does another team's performance have to do with Auburn?
Performance and schedule strength is how you predict the outcome. Our's looks weaker following these games.

Like I said in the other part of my post. I don't look to the rant for support of my team or my predictions for that matter.

You always douche threads up a bit.

Not really. I am just telling you my opinion and you are a pussy.

No, I thought FSU would beat Alabama, and I think they are better than Auburn. Their defense has tremendous speed that will give Auburn problems. They also have play-makers on offense that are quite frankly better than anybody Auburn has. I will still root for the SEC team, but I think the Noles are legit.

So after watching double digit underdogs almost win (Duke) and dominate (Oklahoma), you're now worried your big time underdog team will lose? I'm no expert, but I would be encouraged by those games.

Yes, I like FSU in the NC game now. I conclude that that most SEC defenses were down this year largely due to attrition. LSU and Georgia lost most of their starters on defense from last year and A&M obviously lost a lot as well. And I didn't realize Bama was so shallow in their secondary having to play 2 Freshmen CB's in the Sugar Bowl.

No Awburn was getting blowed out before this game. FSU is just way better on both sides of the ball.

Attrition but most importantly: A lot of them keep leaving for the NFL early and so they're not entirely focused on the game. I think Auburn will be much more focused because it's the end all be all.
Alabama lost very bad at the end of the year, to their most hated rival, and secured an otherwise meaningless bowl game compared to what was expected. I still have Auburn to win this one.

So this is your opinion, does that make you a douche as well. You just shared it in a forum thread just as I did. I am guessing everyone is a douche here.

I thought Florida State would win by 14-20 points going away before last night, and I still do.
