Nope. Scruffy had his money on FSU already.

if auburn happens to beat FSU on monday, it will be the first time EVER a team has beaten three straight AP top 5 teams.

End of the season rankings are more important than time-of-the-ballgame rankings. Those 3 teams you referenced haven't beaten any formidable teams. Missouri might not finish in the Top 5. Alabama certainly won't.

I'm opposed to a few of the details regarding the future playoff, but it would have been awesome to have one this year. Florida State, Auburn, Michigan State, and Stanford in a 4-team playoff would be very exciting. If Auburn wins, then they finished #1 in a system that all FBS teams follow, and we'll just have to deal with it. I've gotta wait to see how the game plays out before I can make my final assessment on Auburn. Turnovers and penalties are a part of the game but can skew things and entirely change games, as well as injuries.

UGA was without their number 1 playmaker, a host of others, played badly and still would have won if their TE catches the ball. A&M didn't play any differently than they've played all year. Bama played their worst game of the year by far and was within 7 with the ball with a minute left. OU played the best game and a far different game than they've played all year. I wouldn't read anything into those other games.

I think Auburn matches up well with FSU (outside of your DBs) and it will be a good game. Same as I thought before the bowl season.

While the statements you've made do seem factual, it doesn't change the fact that Auburn's credibility has taken a hit; not that it matters though, since Auburn is already locked into the national championship game.
