Do you have friends that still put SEC over Bama losing?

I have a buddy that roots for Alabama because they're in the SEC. I think it's safe to say those days are gone for most fans in the SEC. Do you or your friends still see things this way?
Same friend refuses to get excited about LF7 until he proves himself on the field.

I gots 934 friends on FB, 0 of them cheered for Alabama. I even got a ton of "Boomer Sooners".

Most of the people I know that do it don't know as much about football as they think. I have no problem cheering for teams like Vandy and Mississippi State in bowl games but I usually cheer against Bama, AU, A&M, etc.

I overcame that tonight for 2 reasons.
1. Recruiting battles.
2. Playoff system takes a bit of the subjectivity out.

I've always been the same way: I'll pull for any SEC team playing a nonconference game, EXCEPT for Alabama. That's nothing new, and it certainly didn't start when Saban got there.

I had an Auburn friend cheering for Alabama. Disgusting. Some people don't know the definition of rivalry.

Yep. But I don't know any real fans who do. Don't know any fans who travel to games and do either. I know some fans who are now Bama fans because they "got our coach". They worship Saban as much as the trailer people 2 states over.

My Dad stills pulls for the entire SEC. I've tried to open his eyes, but he is old and stubborn. He texted me "Roll Tide" before the game last night. His birthday present in a few weeks is going to suck now.

I already know there will be people pulling for Auburn in the NCG. Do some people just forget what happened in the not so distant past? frick the SEC.

you are judged by the teams that you play Beating losing teams don't Get you to the top unless you are Ohio or USC west !
