I'd bet most of us recognize that 2014 will be a year of "adjustments." I'm not expecting to finish any higher than 3rd or 4th in the West. 2015 ... probably more of the same..
2016 is when I think we'll truly begin to see each of the individual pieces (e.g., university's long-term commitment to our coach/his system, positive outcomes of stellar recruiting, full adjustment to a new conference, shiny new stadium, etc.) come together.

If JFF leaves and next QB is good..
AND
Defense improves to a top 40 defense which is well within reason.
Ags can easily be an 8 win team next year
IF next QB is very good as expected
AND
Defense is top 6 in the SEC then Ags are going to contend in the West. Will not win it but will be a team no one is looking past. 2015 is the year I am looking forward to.
Ags recruited very well on defense last year and this year so no excuses for shitty D next year. Will be interesting. Go ahead and write the Ags off without JF if he leaves. Sumlin's offense will score points just like Sherman's did before him. Ags defense is the key next year.

Don't need to. Just need an accurate passer with a strong arm. Whoever follows JFF will have a better supporting cast. He was perfect for the last two years though.
