Give me a few whiskey drinks and i'll solve all the problems in this country by the end of the night.

Same here (so long as the solution to the country's problems involves calling my ex and hanging up, then calling her a bitch, then stifling back tears as I pour another glass).

2-5 drinks I'm talking politics.
7-9 drinks I'm throwing game on girls at the bar.
10-11 drinks I'm out on the dance floor.
>11 drinks I'm either in a fight or texting girls I haven't spoken to in 2 years saying I miss them and asking if they're available at 3 a.m

I somewhat read through this thread & noticed a poster bashing Louisiana r/e the states business/research development. First of all, you are wrong - Louisiana is currently going through a renaissance that is not only going to benefit LSU in the upcoming 3-10 years, but every Louisianan too.
Louisiana Economic Development [LED]
I've been a summer intern for LED & I'd say 90% of the southern states we fight against for jobs are TX & GA.
ETA: Secretary Moret has been working his arse off
Also, on the top of my head there are multiple billion dollar research facilities being built too - the BioDistrict New Orleans & the International Coastal Restoration Hub in downtown BR.
Also, saying UGA has a bigger base, better brand, & has more over all history is the homer coming out in you. I would say LSU & UGA have near the same damn branding/history prestige.

LOUISIANA'S BUSINESS CLIMATE IS NO. 4
Continuing its impressive economic rise, Louisiana placed No. 4 in Business Facilities magazine’s Best Business Climate rankings in 2013 – up from its previous ranking of No. 5 in 2012. Today, Louisiana now ranks higher in every national business-climate ranking than it ever did prior to 2008.

TOPS FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH
Outperforming the South and the nation as an emerging economic development leader, Louisiana lands a No. 2 ranking in 2013 for economic growth potential by Business Facilities magazine. It’s yet another sign of Louisiana’s emergence as the most rapidly improving business climate in the country.

LOUISIANA IS NO. 1 EXPORTER
In 2013, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce named Louisiana the No. 1 export state in the nation along with a No. 2 rank in export growth and third for income growth per capita. Driven by its national leadership in exports, a strong energy sector and investment in creating a diverse economic base, Louisiana is quickly becoming a national leader for international trade and growing business.

MOST IMPROVED STATE FOR BUSINESS CLIMATE
In an analysis of top pro-business states for 2013, Pollina Corporate Real Estate ranks Louisiana’s business climate No. 14 – the highest placement for the state in the 10-year history of the ranking. Since 2008, Louisiana has climbed 26 spots in the Pollina ranking, making it the most improved state in the nation over the past five years

LOUISIANA NAMED STATE OF THE YEAR
For the fourth time in five years, Southern Business & Development magazine recognized Louisiana as a 2013 "State of the Year" in the South, thanks to significant growth in national rankings and economic progress. Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lake Charles and Ascension Parish also received individual honors

TOP 10 FOR BUSINESS CLIMATE
In three national business climate rankings – Area Development, Business Facilities and Site Selection – Louisiana now ranks among the Top 10 states in the U.S.

We didn't re-legalize alcohol after prohibition until the 1960s. We were the last state to do so.
Naturally. Politicians take the moral high ground appealing to the political base, while their friends and cronies line their pockets in the vacuum the law creates. Meanwhile, the majority partake of said "sin" product.
Pro-pot legislation will never see the light of day in SEC country.

Does vomiting up Taco Bell and peeing in my kitchen sink count as solving the country's problems? If so, then count me in as well.

LSU is easily one of the premier programs in the SEC. Top 3 for sure. And I frigging hate LSU.
Well, I'm not wild about Rebecca Creek! Definitely overpriced!

It's an Aggie-owned Texas bourbon distillery. Definitely a good bourbon, not overpriced at all.

I was just taking a dump and started thinking about how Mizzou brings more to the SEC than some of the traditional southern schools.
That is a good Mizzou sig.

The Mississippi schools improve the record of the SEC teams they play... they have their uses

As if Arkansas routinely beats Ole Miss. What is it, four of the last six or something?
Just checked: OM and Arky have played 60 times, with Arkansas having won 31 of those games. TOTALLY DOMINANT FOOTBALL PROGRAM BRO.
