I know Lou Holtz is crazy-but when he pumps up Bama it made me wonder

If you took Alabama and Auburn's schedule and shuffled it keeping the results the same is their a scenario where Bama would jump Auburn?
I am thinking if the iron Bowl wasn't so fresh you could very well see some voters wanting to put Bama over Auburn.

No...however, I did notice that Mizzou and South Carolina have the same record, Mizzou won the head to head...yet the Coaches' Poll has South Carolina ranked ahead.

One scenario- What if Iron Bowl was 3rd week of season, and Auburn's loss to LSU was the last week of the season.
I could see Auburn getting jumped

I don't trust this playoff system. It seems like it will just be a popularity contest and espn will try their damnedest to control it. For example if the playoffs were this year, I believe that there is so much love and sympathy for Urban Meyer that they would still put OSU in the four team playoff, even though they have a great record off of a powder-puff schedule.
