Screw "The Process", give me passion, passion, passion

Yeah, I'm drunk, but hear me out.
If recruits want to be joyless robots schooled in the process, they know what school to go to.
That's not what LSU is all about. It never was and never will be. Sure, we teach the fundamentals but LSU is all about passion, passion, passion. The Honey Badger was the perfect fricking player for LSU because he was all passion and energy. Sure, he burned out fast and furious style in a blaze of glory (too soon?) but if we had a roster full of that kind of passion and energy I'd take that 1000x over a passionless joyless robot clone army.
We won't win as many games on average as that other school but we'll have a hell of a lot more doing it and we have the perfect coach that embodies that level of passion. The midget process robot lost 3 or more games 4 out of his 5 seasons at LSU. Process robots don't belong here. We need the fricking grass eating prince of passion.
I'm proud of my damn strong football team and I don't even give a shite that we lost to Ole Miss any more. Ok, maybe I still care a little bit about that.
I think the Tigers from the Plains have a lot of that brand of passion flowing through their veins too. When that passion is in overdrive, crazy shite happens and smacks the process upside the head with 10 inches of limp dick.
I'll go back to being a mild mannered, rational, calm, collected poster after this OP but I just had to get that "rant" off my chest.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas. I'm off to drink some more egg nog.

A lot more...what?
Fun? Winning is fun. Dominating is fun.
Losing to Ole Miss is not fun.
Your coach has a lot of passion and it helps him win big games, but with the highs come the lows and he continually shits the bed against lesser teams that shouldn't even be in the ballgame in the second half.

So sad seeing LSU fans becoming Auburn fanboys.. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/casty.gif)

The post might come across as pathetic but the spirit of it is right on.
You can go to LSU, play a more "free" style of ball which showcases your talents as an individual more, play in front of the most colorful and raucous crowd in the country who will give you a badass nickname, for a coach who will stand behind you and stick up for you and treat you like one of his own, have a decent shot at a ring... and go on to have a very successful NFL career as has been and is being done by many before you.
Or you can go to Bama, be a nameless cog in a factory of droids as a part of the "process," be extremely rigid and restricted in your play on the field with very little freedom as dictated to you and reinforced by your corporate CEO coach who really just wants you to fit his mold and move you through like cattle, get physically chewed up in practice everyday against the other droids... and have an equal shot at the NFL with a higher chance of being a bust because of that very process - which may indeed give you a better shot at getting a ring.
There are pros and cons to each.

You're probably gonna wish you hadn't posted this tomorrow. Your butthurt really shows when you drink.

LSU players have "passion" for about 6 or 7 quarters a season. Usually 4 for Bama and 2 or 3 for some other random team. The rest of the season they don't seem to give much of a shite. (See 2.5 quarters versus Ole Miss)
Yeah passion!
Yeah passion!
