You're bragging about playing Virgina Tech? Oh how the mighty have fallen

It's just an observation, children. Primarily an observation about how weak the nonconference opponents of the contenders are this year

Are you surprised the teams with the best records played weak schedules?

Yes. Most years, the top teams have faced more challenging opponents. Last year, we pasted a solid Michigan team and ND had knocked off Stanford. 2011 LSU had one of the toughest schedules in history and we beat a solid Penn State team.
This year is an aberration. Schedules are only part of the equation.

Well we played one super tough ooc opponent in UCF. Then 3 absolute midgets.(clemson, unc, and coastal carolina.)

After all the talk about schedules, Alabama played the toughest nonconference opponent of the top 5. With auburn as good as they are, it's funny to be able to say our schedule is markedly better than the two teams likely to play for it all.
Can we get some love from LSU now?
Yall deserve an Iron Bowl do over, yall really do. No way Auburn should have won that game!

UGA and USC both played Clemson who I think is the best of the bunch for the top five schools this year (top five being: Auburn, MU, Bama, LSU, USC)
The best non-conference opponents played by SEC teams this year were FSU (who beat up Florida), Oregon (who beat up Tennessee), and Oklahoma State (who beat up Mississippi State)

A full 8-month insane meltdown about our easy schedule, and it all ended up being wrong. They gotta be so embarrassed. But don't expect the rantards to admit it.
Wrong? LSU and Auburn in one year sure is unfair..

Seriously. You really think anyone other than Tennessee has a right to brag about a tough schedule this year? One of the toughest in the history of college football?!
Well, UGA and UK have the second best bragging rights regarding schedules but damn, using manipulation for Bama to be able to claim something?! That Iron Bowl loss has gone from a deep bleeding wound to outright gangrenous.

UGA played 10-2 Clemson, 7-5 GT, 8-4 North Texas(C-USA) & 4-8 App. St(FCS)... not too shabby

Your schedule is not even close to as difficult as Auburn's if that is what you are arguing

I'll admit it.
I'm so ashamed I'm scourging myself right now.
Across my bare buttocks.
(P.S. I lied.)

So Bama didn't play the 2 worst teams in the SEC East?
Va Tech was mediocre this season.
