Longest streak of being bad in a sport

Which SEC team has the longest streak of being bad in either football, basketball or baseball?
The one that comes to mind is Auburn in basketball (doesn't seem like they've had a good team since the Chris Porter days). Who am I not thinking of?

OM has not won anything in football since the 60s.

Auburn Basketball was my gut reaction.
I am also a bit mystified that Auburn baseball cant compete on a more consistent level.
For Alabama...
- Bama has been bad at women's Basketball since a final four trip in 1994.
- Bama Women's soccer has never been able to break through to the upper echelon of the SEC. And Alabama is a decent soccer state.

Auburn has been really bad at basketball for some time, but we mixed in a few pretty good years (couple sweet 16s, #1 seed, reg season SEC title).
UGA is pretty close to us in being awful for a while, but they've had a few appearances and a fluke SEC title too.

Maybe by SEC standards. But still not better than FL, TX, GA, TN, KY, MO, or SC.

South Carolina Basketball? When's the last time they went to the NCAA?

in 2009, Auburn just missed the tournament and was a number 1 seed and favorite to win the NIT
didn't win because we couldn't make a free throw in the quarterfinals
so I'd say that wasn't a bad season

Kentucky baseball has been pretty awful other than the years when Cohen was there.

Which was like 5 years ago. So that's not a very long "streak".

Define "bad"
How about not a threat to contend for anywhere near the top of the standings?

It's obviously Vandy in football. They were bad for like 80 solid years

Is Alabama swimming & diving worth a damn?

2004. Second worst in the SEC to Auburn's 2003. But we did win back to back NITs in 2005 and 2006, so I don't know where that would put us...
