I would say in the bottom 25% of teams in SEC play.

Which was like 5 years ago. So that's not a very long "streak".
OP did not specify the streak had to be current.

Regardless, Tennessee has been worse, for longer.

AU Basketball sucks. It has for a long time. Mostly because we tolerate it as long as football and (to a lesser extent) baseball do ok. If Football is killing it, nobody at Auburn gives a frick about the rest.

I enjoy having other sports do good too.
How many natoina titles have Bama won in the past three years?
2 in Gymnastics.
2 in men/women golf
1 in softball
2 in Football.
cant wait for a decent baseball stadium so that we can recruit better / go back to Omaha.

A&M finished last place in their respective conference all but 3 years from 1987-2005

define bad
Back when we were in the B12, Nebraska had (and still has) never won an NCAA tournament basketball game. Northwestern has never even been to the tournament! Anyone in The SEC quite that horrible?

No I think everyone has been to the tourney.
MSU/Florida/Kentucky/LSU/Arkassas have all been to the final four.
Many more to elite 8.
Sec has been historically good at basketball. Just shitty recently.

I'm not sure if "bad" is appropriate, but LSU men's basketball was nothing special between our first Final Four appearance in the early 1950s, until Pistol Pete came to Tigertown in the late 1960s - and Dale Brown right after that.
LSU baseball was never really a great program until Skip Bertman arrived in the mid 1980s.
LSU football only had one bad stretch between 1989 and 1994, but managed to win 27 games and 3 straight bowl games in 1995,96 and 97.
Prior to 1989, LSU was #12 all-time in number of NCAA victories, and 10th in bowl appearances (we are now 11th and 8th, respectively.)
