For those not in the know, the President announced there will be a four day athletic competition next summer to celebrate the nation's 250th birthday. Each state will send one male and one female high school athlete to compete against the other states.

Who is your early leader? Florida, Texas and California have to be heavy early betting leaders but Louisiana could get some shark money.
I can tell you, it 100% happened. My question to you is.....how many heartwarming news reports have you seen about it happening?

Watched it over the weekend. It is a beautiful and moving movie. The cinematography is a little The Revenant meets The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford. Visually stunning.

If you are expecting Michael Bay, don't watch it but I loved the story.

All of this is false and pretty comical. Owners are amazing, down to earth couple with great kids who all live there. Not an ounce of snobbery in any of them.
Publishing the wifi network, password, assistant names and phone numbers of a billionaire is not necessarily the decision I would make.

"Tennessee (where new coach is hated)" Huh?

Kiffin left Tennessee for USC. On his first trip back, fans threw stuff at him including a bottle of mustard.

Ole Miss on the road didn’t we just play there?

Moving to new 3 permanent opponents format which has most teams repeating a road game.
New energy of a new coach +

Home- Clemson, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M
Road - Tennessee (where new coach is hated) Ole Miss (where new coach is hated even more)

So do we like Saban again?

Seems like he played a big role in steering Kiffin here
Just curious what’s loaded up
Looked up some more info on Guiteau after watching the series. Sounds like his trial and execution were absolutely wild.
Gathering a team together to go pick up around the lakes as we speak. Gotta get this place looking nice.

4 part historical drama about the assassination of President Garfield. Very well done. He was always kind of a footnote to me (1 of 4 Presidents assassinated) and I never knew the events leading up to it (or following). Worth your time

More LSU MBB tea leaves

The UNO team that LSU beat by 30 blasted Tulane by 20+. UNO also beat TCU on the road to start the season. Don’t let the name fool you. UNO was a good win.

The UCF team that the Tigers beat on the road in a scrimmage beat Texas A&M at their place by 12.

We may have a decent team this year.
Beyond the obvious upgrades in talent, MM's demeanor on the sidelines may be one of the biggest differences. Like others have said, he's been fiery. Chewing on the refs. Pumped up and motivating his team if the other team is forced to call a timeout. Very different feel.

It also seems like we may have 27 members on the coaching staff. The bench behind the bench is jam packed with staff. Maybe its the one on one coaching!? We have enough staff for it.

This is his moment to build momentum. Football is a dumpster fire and baseball is a ways away. Win a couple of games and the fans will come out.

I’ll reassess when they play a team with a pulse

Don't let the name fool you. UNO has a good team this year. They've already gone on the road this year and beaten TCU coached by a top tier coach in Jamie Dixon. LSU beat them by 35.

Couple that with the scrimmage win against UCF at UCF and the tea leaves are shaping up
We may make some noise this year. The team is talented, long, experienced and athletic with some key pieces in place.

PGs can make a team go from being an average team to a good team. LSU has a really good one in Thomas. Natural floor leader with great vision. First PG of the McMahon era that can run his sets. Protects the ball and is going to be near the top of the league in assists.

Sutton could be a double double machine. Great inside out player and relentless energy. Can play with his back to the rim or step out for 3s. Very tough to guard.

Will be interesting to see how they do when the competition steps up but their scrimmage win against a pretty good UCF team at their place has given me some hope.

Best opening scene for a tv series.

Lost is in the running but hard to beat Better Call Saul. So much is learned and felt without a single word being said. Also weaved in Saul’s own words that his best case scenario would be “working at a Cinnabon in Omaha”. Was this his plan all along?
