Here's the difference. At least there was a reason for our down period. NCAA sanctions, reduced scholarships, bowl ban, etc. deserved or not, there was a cause to our effect.
Tennessee just started sucking all on their own. Can't say it was bad coaching moves! they started sucking under the same coach that you all love so much for his success. Yeah the coaching moves did help keep you down but the decline was all inclusive with Phil, the great savior.

The cause doesnt matter, coaching changes or Ncaa. The result is the same, major attrition and depleted rosters.
Beating a dooley coached team is not an accomplishment. period. And I used the word "coached" very loosely

Your decline happened under Phil. Not Dooley. Dooley just took over a program killed by Phil and then stepped on by kiffin.

My God you are clueless. Had Phil slipped a little ,yes. But lets not forget, he won 9 games in 06 and went to the SEC title game in 07 and won 10 games. If we had kept Phil we would still have been a solid program. Not like the 90s, but a solid team year in year out.
If you wanna say someone killed the program then point at Mike Hamilton.

bullshite. That 2007 team was a fraud and his recruiting was getting worse. UT was awful when Fulmer left and that would have remained the case under him.

I hate Tennessee and Fulmer as much as any Bama fan, but I think it's classless to go after the fat man's daughter. Alabama is better than that. I'm sure it's only one or two "Bammers" doing this.. There is always that one Updyke out there that takes things too far and makes Bama look bad.
