Fulmer is gentleman and a champion. There's hardly a better ambassador for the SEC.

Anyone else think that's weak? Saying "Roll Tide" is like saying "Go team whatever!". Responding with "That's ok, I'm 11-5 against you" sounds weak.
He's not currently 11-5 against anyone. His fat arse is simply currently unemployed.

In my experience, especially since 2008, Bama fans feel the need to shout "roll tide!" to anyone wearing clothing representing another team. Why is that?

Well you have a lot more caravan fans now is probably the main reason. When I was at bama, Roll Tide was still yelled all the time and we f'ing sucked (2000-2004). I remember when fights would almost break out at bars and people would play peacemaker by saying "Roll Tide?" to each sides and it'd dissolve.
