Is anyone else NOT surprised by Missouri's level of play this year?

We knew how good Missouri was in the Big 12 before we jumped to the SEC. Last year was a serious injury bug problem that didn't show us the true Mizzou colors.
Anybody else not surprised?

I think we saw glimpses of Mizzou's potential last year (UF and UGA), it shouldn't shock anyone that a healthy Missouri is one of the league's premier teams.

Most haters had never watched a Mizzou game.
But they knew so much about us.
Kind of a typical thing in society.

We knew. We were concerned going into the game last year, but it became obvious that the injuries had taken a huge toll.

Let's be honest. They haven't played a solid D yet. Let the season play out before we crown a champ.

Of course the game on Saturday was a lose/lose for the Tigers.
Missouri gets blown out and the rant shouts "we told you so, it was all the weak schedule."
Missouri blows UGA out, and the rant shouts "Great job, you beat an overrated and delpleted UGA."

Not crowning them champs, but they are a lot better this year. Some of their own were ready to ditch Pinkle, which I think would have been a huge mistake given the ridiculous number of injuries, especially on the OL.

Our level of play has been good so far, but these next three home games will separate us from the good and the bad. If we can get a win in a big game with Mauk (#2 qb) then I will be sold on mizzou. Being good in the SEC means being able to adjust and keep playing at a high level when adversity strikes. Next few weeks are huge in defining mizzou in the sec. all about dat depth.

I don't think about MO like ever. Just one week a year.

I'm not.
Injuries ruined them last year so as long as they are healthy they should be pretty good.

Obviously the negatives that were noticed by many in the SEC when A&M and Missouri were brought in have been silenced a bit!

You'll be thinking about us a lot more when we beat that arse next weekend in Columbia and knock you out of the race in the East.

Missouri won the Big 12 North a bunch of times and was even ranked #1 in the country at one point during the 2007 season. It was crazy how a lot of people were acting like the SEC had invited Iowa State. They are a much better addition to the SEC than West Virginia would have been. Their football programs are around the same level but Mizzou has a better overall athletic program, superior academics and adds a lot more money to the table due to their market size.

You've got them on the road Saturday. So, are you thinking about them?

Mizzou is tough. Watched them in the big 12 many times. One think people dont seem to notice is that they have always done well with very little..... meaning the recruiting class isnt as start studded as most but they are always coached up. I.E. Chase Dainel

I thought they would be much better (last year just too many injuries) but I probably would not have put money on a 6-0 start. Lot of tough games left, but they are legit.

No. WVU has won 3 BCS bowls.
The issue is that WVU is at its peak now, while Mizzou has a lot more ceiling.

Exactly
The cowbells started 7-0 last season didn't they?
