Arkansas fans have been crowing about how their team has 5 more wins than UF in their history. Now to be fair let's look at these two teams since Arky joined a real conference in 1992.

The Hogs are 145-112-2(56% Win percentage) overall since joining the SEC, and 81-89-2(47% win percentage) in all games against SEC opponents. Arky has zero SEC/NC titles.

UF during that time period has gone 212-71-1 (74% Win Percentage overall) With the vast majority of L's coming to FSU. With 140-40 in SEC play(77% Win Percentage. Also during this time period UF has 2 Heismans, 3 Nattys, and 7 SEC titles. So Arky keep talking shite. You are the Baylor of SEC Fball.

You gator fans would never survive a schooner with strong tailwinds. The sails this week have been really poor due to the lack of source material and the response threads have been maximum rustle.

Wow!! Didn't realize just how dominant UF has been.
I think everyone (besides the hogs) knows Arkys place so that's no surprise.

Thanks for pointing out that Arkansas is a sleeping giant. Hopefully that will make you feel better when we sail out of the Swamp with a W.

Problem is....they don't have 5 more wins in program history.

Florida is 680 (started in 1906)
Arkansas is 682 (started in 1894)

So Arkansas has 2 more wins all time, in 13 seasons (32 wins in those seasons)....PLUS Arkansas fielded a team in 1943 (Florida did not) which got them 2 more wins. So if you remove the wins Arkansas got during seasons Florida didn't play.......Florida has 32 more

I have to agree with Hugo: this analogy is too generous to Arkansas.

Baylor has a Heisman trophy winner. Arkansas does not.

Advantage Baylor.

So your saying florida has lost 36+ games to FSU in 22 years?

I'd be rustled too.

Even though you all thoughT it was going to be a blow out, the Bucs get the W. THAT'S WHY WE PLAY THE GAME. Brees looked like Jeff Driskel. Freeman is the AA version of Tebow.

This is laughable because us joining is what made the SEC a "real" conference.

The thing that the OP can't understand is prior to Arkansas and S. Carolina joining in 1991, then starting play in 1992. Florida had NEVER had a 10 win season in the entirety of their football program.

So splitting the Conference into 2 divisions, with the football superpowers known as Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and South Carolina in the East division along with underperforming Tennessee and Georgia programs as well you can see why Florida had the potential to cakewalk into greater success.

Florida's winning % as a SEC before the 90's SEC expansion was .539. Pedestrian at best during a time when Miami and FSU were terrible and the Big 3 in Florida were nothings in the college football world.

So if anything Florida has Arkansas to thank for giving them a powder puff schedule that they could build upon and raise their profile. If there's one constant at Florida it's there can be no winning if there are not serious violations and stoppage of honor and morality. In the 80's UF had a decent run while on probation, In the 00's it took serious dancing with the Devil and a lack of integrity to get back to a decent team and prominence.

Can never put a price on integrity unless you're Auburn, Bama, LSU, UF, MSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, UNC, Oklahoma, S. Carolina, Georgia, USC, SMU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Okie St, Colorado, Wichita St, Houston, Washington, Mizzou, or Ohio St.
