I know this is early because we have a bye week before the game on Oct 12th but that just gives y'all more time to bow down to the Arky score prediction winner.

We are going to have a lower scoring game here. Their defense will hold us under 40 points for the first time this season. Way too close for comfort, but still a win.

Texas A&M - 37
Ole Piss - 35

Kind of off topic: I read what I posted and had to laugh...

Holy shite I wish I could go back to the Slocum years and tell myself this would be considered a low scoring game in the future.

I sure as hell hope not. I think having a bye week will be a great help for us.

I really hope the week off is beneficial. The good news...I'm pretty bad when it comes to predictions involving teams I care about.

Misleading title is misleading.

I thought this was a prediction of scoring at the grove.

I don't think it's going to be that close. They put a lot of work into beating Alabama and it showed. I think their defense is going to be burned out, and if you can stop their run (which A&M has had problems with this year) you'll stop their offense altogether.

49-35 ATM

Our mediocre at best corners will not last in coverage once Johnny starts his scrambles

I'm going to wait until late next week to make score predictions. we do have a couple of injuries trying to heal for the game. Not to mention OM could get banged up this weekend.

The scoring offense/defense model predicted 39-29 A&M last week. It was off by a combined 10 points.

Using A&M's model, we score 22.8 ppg more than our opponents allow and allow 1.5 ppg less than our opponents score.

Using Ole Miss' model, they score 4.4 ppg more than their opponents allow and allow 4.5 ppg less than their opponents score.

Extrapolating from that data, A&M scores between 45-47 and Ole Miss scores between 27-35.

I'll guess 45-28.

Their offensive line and running backs are not nearly as physical as either Arkansas or Alabama (who put up the most and 2nd most points on us this year).

I'm not sure they have a RB as big as the guy from Rice either.

OM 28

One of A&M's TD's comes off yet another Erasor pick 6. All because Bo won't get a decent haircut.
