C'mon man. The sky isn't falling. Guys were out. It was CS. Players didn't care. Etc. Everything's just fine.

Did Norwood play last night?

He was out as well.

OJ Howard is becoming more integral week to week as well.

He is going to be a serious weapon by seasons end. Once he can become a better blocker and become an every down guy

It felt like any other game against a bad team after a big win to me. We have done the same thing during championship years. If we had lost to A&M and were playing like this I'd be much more worried.

This is one thing about the A&M game that gets blown out of proportion

I'd love very much to think that. But our team has had a ball club for a LONG time. To have had the most yardage in any single performance in that school's history is cause for concern. I'm not worried. The only thing that will bother me is to think that our program is on a decline. I don't care if we don't win a national title every single year.. haha. Only thing I care about is that the problem is recognized and fixed up at some point.

Saban is our coach! We'll be good, even if we don't have the players this year to really fix it. I'm not paid to worry about all that :)

I was excited about OJ Howard as soon as he signed his LOI. I figured he would be Alabama's impact freshman for 2013. He is on the path for sure.

I'm good to go! It's a damn fine team. I'm not GIVING up on the team for what they can accomplish. I suppose i worded that wrong. I'm just saying I won't expect the exact same performances as the last 2 years teams.

PLENTY of teams that are less good than our team have won it all before. We got as good a shot as anyone.

The real silver lining is that if our players ever do sync up the way they are capable of physically, we would destroy anyone.

I don't know I was watching LSU give up over 200 yards rushing to Aubie and almost 500 total yards of offense.

We're running a Mt West offense.

Perhaps it had something to do with our former OC who was coaching on the other side of the field.

I don't pretend to know what's going on this year. I tried to understand for a while, now I'm just going with it.

I don't know any answers, but it looked to me like the offense only ran 9 or 10 different plays all game. It was beyond vanilla. It was plain.

I think this is true, but the defense worries me at this point.

Wow. They just couldn't tackle, and so much for a pass rush.

Sort of reminded me of the La Monroe effort of a while back--only we have much more talent now. Some times teams think that all they have to do to win is show up. There was no energy on the field for Bama.

We've been pretty bland and terrible on 1st down.
Leading to lots of 3rd and longs.
I think Cecil Hurt mentioned we were averaging like 9 yards on 3rd downs.

Our secondary couldn't cover me.

I suck.

Next question.
