TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon was flagged for a touchdown celebration in the Crimson Tide's 49-42 victory over Texas A&M.

Yeldon released the following statement on Monday:

“I want to apologize to everyone for my selfish actions on Saturday," Yeldon said. "That is not the way I want to represent myself, my family and our team. That is not the way we do things at Alabama. This is something that I will learn from, and I will use better judgment in the future.”

Interesting that Coach Saban was furious about it.....but didn't take him out. So I guess that really is who you are Saban.

"TJ...you see all the RBs I recruited last February?"

"Yes, coach."

"Which one do you want to take your job?"

"None."

"Dont ever do that again."

I respect that, but I didn't have a problem with his actions to begin with.Let these guys have a little fun. Who's it hurting? The NCAA is a joke. And if the opposing teams have a problem with it then keep him out of the endzone

I wish they had made him read the statement rather than release the statement. I think this is a good lesson for him and the entire team.
