Feel pretty confident that the powers that be will try and keep the SEC from winning it all this year

So when the media goes after JFF with literally nothing more than rumors for evidence, everyone is all "OMG JFF is the scum of the earth. frick him and texAs A&M. Cheaters!!"

But when the media comes out with a misconduct story and has actual proof and substantial evidence, everyone is like "the media is scum and out to get us!!"

Seriously?

There is no doubt.

The SEC fans will never quit watching.

The rest of the country has stopped watching for the most part.

They want the other conferences back in the mix. This is simply fact. To accomplish this they need SEC faulter. Its not conspiracy - its business.

Why do you think Urban Meyer is so protected? The guy is easily the sleaziest scumbag who has ever coached. Yet in addition to his sleaziness - he won and then left his team after he failed to recruit and coach properly with fake bullshite and family talk yet EVERYONE bought it..why? Herbie?

Did the NCAA already know tOSU fate? So they protect the guy? I have no idea. If I went to florida I would burn his house down.

But that is how it works. They need tOSU back bad.

ESPN is a business. So if you are an employee and get stock options or bonuses on yearly revenue - you have every personal reason to drive business. Nobody needs to tell you.

If School X makes the MNC and the BIZ makes 750 mil opposes to school r and the biz makes 134 mil. Your bonus is either 75,000 or 1,500.00

That will make you root for Manti cant take him down.

anyway - I have had a whiskey. I am off track a hair. But yes. They want to bring us down. Stay together. Root for JFF. and keep the Crue's threads' up yo.

I dont know about everyone else, but Ihave heard a lot lately on this site about how ESPN wants to take down the SEC and I just dont buy that. ESPN stands to lose a fricking SHITE ton of money if the SEC brand takes a hit with the massive tv deals they have going on.

And you can't read or watch ESPN without seeing an Alabama grad, so why would they want to do that?

The nature of sports media is to increase ratings. Period.

To increase ratings they prefer Cali market strong, East mkt strong, se strong, mid west, sw etc..

Right now the SEC has the other conferences not giving a shite. Great for us - bad for ESPN - terrible for ESPN WEST.

Hence the focus on JFF and not Clowney of TAJ. Same evidence. But they cant afford A&M to get another Heisman with a 300 mil investment in the Horns. Which should be a conflict of interest under the most minimal definition.

Its why they ranked USC #1 last year - its why they do all that weird stuff. Its not conspiracy. That is a word for hiding spacemen.

This is business. You slant the news on your "e" "entertainment News" station to your liking.

Urban Meyer is biggest beneficiary. His day will come - as will Herbies

What effect will the new playoff have on the Meyer family? I hope they weather it well.

I don't know if anything is tied together but shite just in the past few months.

Johnny Manziel thing - TAMU
Rape thing - Vandy
Aaron Hernandez plus arrest records with Meyer - UF
OSU stuff trying to tie Les Miles in - LSU
Free benifits, shady dealings - Bama, MSU, Tenn

Half the conference is dealing with some shite whether it's true or not. It's bad press and it's all being brought down on the SEC.
