Yeah, but the press got what they wanted in the end. Saban quit and walked away from the podium. That's a better visual than anything they could have goaded him into saying.
To use a poker term, Saban is On Tilt. I've never seen him like that. He may get mad, but he's always been in control of himself. He wasn't in control of himself at that presser.

I don't blame him one bit..Whatever happened this is not his fault, with players living all over the place and ex players hanging around it is impossible to police this shite under current NCAA bullshite rules. That is one thing he and Miles agree on 100%.

I would definitely put it among the best college coach quotes, but no where near "you play to win the game" or "they were who we thought they were".

See AJ GREEN, suspended 4 games and paid back money, the schools only get in trouble for knowing players are getting paid and keeping it secret or for paying players, even then teams like Auburn never get caught.
