A&M corner back was just ejected.
He did not launch, he never left his feet.
He did not lead with his helmet...he hit him with his shoulder and his helmet never even made contact with the WR.
He did not hit the WR in the head....he made contact squarely with the WRs chest/shoulder.
Now Everett is suspended of the first half of next game.
What a terrible rule.

frick him. Rules are rules. I wish someone would target your POS QB.

He could have easily peeled off...good call.

They're review the hit. If it's clean he'll probably be reinstated for the next game

So how many starting defenders are y'all down to now?

It was a crappy call. He deserved the flag for hitting receiver late but not the ejection. This rule is scary

The rest of what you say is correct. It was nothing more than a late hit on a defenseless receiver. No targeting IMO. Bullshite rule.

They seem to be a little bit stricter in regards to a defenseless receiver, not sure what the exact rule is.

It was a late hit, and a penalty was on the way.
However, ejection is overkill and ridiculous.

you are correct but he wheylayed the guy three full strides after the ball sailed over his head incomplete and the game was 52-28 with about three min to go... No sympathy from me because it was a stupid play on his part.
Does not mean I agree with the rule but he certainly deserved the penalty flag for personal foul.

I can't believe he was still ejected even after they reviewed it upstairs. Awful new rule.

The one who got in a fight was warranted IMO
