IS this what you would bring to the AU boards?

Why the frick are A&M and LSU that low?

But your girls are ugly. It's all good.

I love when they use acceptance rate. Every bammer with a GED is applying for acceptance into the school, so they can party and get football tickets. What the survey needs to show is the ACT/SAT Score of those turned away.
Anything to do with demand v. acceptance in a school's ranking is fricking bullshite. We have a top 10% rule in Texas, so that ridiculously fricks over our acceptance rating. If we have 85,000 top 10%ers apply, we have to accept all 85,000.

Those rules have really helped Alabama and Auburn. Alabama is full of people who were just outside the top-10% of their class from Georgia, Texas, and Florida.

Why can't Ole Miss and State be in the middle at least

Of course the list where Bama is higher

Didn't the Supreme Court just send that one back to the 5th Circuit with an order to apply strict scrutiny, which pretty much voids the law?

As has been discussed before the Mississippi Schools are doomed by the Ayers case. Nothing we can do about it
And it sucks. I don't know what the fail/drop out rate at State is for Freshmen and Sophomores but at Ole Miss it is pretty high because the low entrance requirements get kids in there that have no business being there.

I'm not even sure I would get into Alabama now, if I was applying in 2013 as opposed to 2001. And I ended up getting a BS and MS in Civil Engineering.

Because the state won't let us raise our entrance requirements.

Nevermind, misunderstood what you were arguing. But that's still idiotic to say
My point is: I saw where bama got a higher ranking in one survey because they had a 40% acceptance rate. I have spoken to HS Councilors that say that the majority of Alabama HS Students will apply to bama, even if they do not have the score. Those same students know not to apply to AU because they know they will not get in.

It's a little more credible, but also bullshite. For example:
17. Vandy
54. Florida
63. Georgia
65. Texas a&M
77. Alabama
89. Auburn
97. Missouri
101. Tennessee
115. South Carolina
125. Kentucky
134. Arkansas
134. LSU
151. Ole Miss
160. Mississippi State
LSU is a better school than Tenn in my opinion. Not a knock on Vols, but frick. They are way underrating LSU.
and by the way....frick LSU!!!

It's still fairly easy to get in as an in-state student. Out of state, it's getting pretty tough. Since the 10% rule is in a lot of nearby states, we get the 11-15%ers.

Tier one:
