Don't forget A&M also has 5 star Trey Williams.

That makes two 5 stars, one 4 star running back, and Ben Malena who put in a 5 star performance last year.

Has this conference EVER had so many stud RBs at once?

In 2012, there were 9 1k rushers. In 2007, there were 8.

In 2012, there were two teams with two rushers of 800+ yards...A&M and Bama. There were none in 2011, 2009, 2008, or 2007.

In 2010, Auburn had 3.

how many yards did he get in the SECCG?

As all those who aren't wearing crimson blinders have pointed out he actually did pretty well vs the impervious and infallible bammer D I won't reiterate it...much. The only school than can really shite talk Gurley is South Carolina and that has a lot more to do with the Predator playing DE and scaring our metrosexual QB.

a lot of it was Clowney, but you're foolin' yourself if you think the rest of our DLine aren't studs as well. Not saying they are on par with Clowney, but damn good.

While I usually do mean disrespect I really don't here. You don't win like that because of one super advanced species playing at DE. I really meant it more as a compliment as much as I hate to say it.

I've heard Dodson looks good but I'm excited for Mathers as well. Big kid with speed to burn.

You can add David Williams as part of the '13 class, and most likely Derrick Scott for '14 for us as well....

They won't listen to you bro, those players will have to make the rant understand themselves.

Derrell Scott is a damn good back too, hope we land him.

May take a season to get it implemented, but I'm thinking there won't be any seasons where Bielema doesn't have a 1000 yard plus running back.

Could be Johnathan Williams or Collins this year or next.

Damn straight he did. I was highly impressed with Gurley. It was more than a little unusual to see Bama defenders get dragged.

A&M stacked at RB - 2 5* in the Williams', a bruiser in Carson, and don't forget the starter Malena. That doesn't include White who just got to campus.

Nor JFF who was the best RB in the SEC last year. Expect to see a LOT of running game from A&M, as well as more passes to the RB's this year.

I was as surprised as you. We have had backs for a while that could slice up say AU or UT but after I saw how hard he ran vs UF I started believing. Then we played Alabama and I figured that while he is for real idk if he can do it alone here but that kid just kept on pushing. I really like that our coaches understand, for once, that our RBs don't need to carry the ball equally and Gurley was allowed to be the feature back vs both UF and UA to the tune of like 9 carries total in both.

FWIW because you said something nice about Gurley I feel obligated to say that I see Yeldon pretty much as 1b. Jesus that kid is good...
