What does the board think of this one ?
Georgia will already have played Clemson and South Carolina and LSU will be coming in after playing Auburn.
The storyline I'm guessing is Mett going back to Georgia.
Who you gots?

I'm giving Georgia the edge until I see the Cam Cameron offense.

I would imagine most LSU fans will say LSU and most UGA fans will say UGA.

To provide some actual fodder for debate..I'm simply not sold enough on Mett right now. I'm not saying he sucks or he can't be outstanding, just from what I've seen as of NOW I'm not quite sold on him. However, that's kind of offset by our retooled defense.

Based on what LSU has lost, our offense being potentially the best in school history, the fact we'll be tested early by CU and SC, and that it's at home..I think I'd give us the slight edge. Ever so slight. Should be a hell of a game either way.

I have a hard time predicting anything until I see how our offense looks this year under Cameron and seeing how Georgia's young defense looks.

But as an LSU fan, I have on the purple glasses and think we have the edge. Based on not much.

I would need to see both teams play before I can make a valid prediction. Georgia and LSU have been known to be pretty tricky teams to predict. We do well when not expected and suck when it's our moment.

LSU will run the ball for more yards than Bama did in the SECCG and win rather easily. I really don't understand why LSU thinks this will be a tough game. It wont be.

Depends on LSU's offense, so it's kind of difficult to say right now. If there is significant improvement, I'd say the game is a tossup and I'd maybe even consider LSU a slight favorite. If it's the same old same old of the last 5 years, UGA wins relatively easily.

It's too early. Georgia's season might already be ruined. How will they play if they've lost their first 2 games? Will LSU field a consistently balanced attack? Les Miles' playcalling? LSU's rushing defense? Georgia's rushing defense? Will Hill play in this game? There are too many unanswered questions right now, and we have little to go on to answer them. Ask again after Week 2.

I mean, the odds are with Georgia, I think. However, LSU has beaten them in Athens before and we could do it again if we play well.

Georgia. It won't even be a close game. 35-14ish range.

I think Georgia wins the battle at the LOS, and controls the game. Barring turnovers, I could see UGA winning by more than a TD.
